The VineDication website set up a really fun quiz that helps you learn about which wines on their website you will enjoy the most based on your personal preferences, which is super helpful! My results were fun and flirty (which I’ll share below), and I decided to go ahead and buy the 3 Virginia wines recommended to me to see how I liked it.
Q&A With VineDication’s Founder
I’ve recently came across a pretty cool wine website called VineDication! They’re an online retailer/ wine club hybrid dedicated to curating hidden gem wines from Virginia, and all over the world, that are tough to find outside of their own wineries. I had a chance to virtually connect with founder Nicole Columbo and learn more about her experience launching VineDication.
Byrd Cellars: A small but mighty winery in Goochland, VA
I went to visit Byrd Cellars the first Friday in March, before COVID-19 hit the U.S and the stay at home orders began. At the time, they were already doing preventative measures by using disposable cups for the wine tastings, the tasting room attendants wore gloves, and a giant bottle of hand sanitizer was available for customers to use right on the bar.
